As Per Barb's Request...

Due to some unforseen sad events plus being crazy busy, my blog as gone a tad to the way side. While there has been some creating, there has been no sharing. For this, my loyal blog readers, I apologize. (Katie - did you check again or have you completely given up :-) )

To date, I have:
  • done a layout for my Mom's 50th b-day celebration telling her about her gift/trip to New York
  • a mini chipboard/Maya Road album for guests to sign and a keepsake for photos. (all ready to go .... just add photos)
  • I have also done 140 wedding invitations and reception only cards for Kevin's cousin's wedding (thanks to all the cousins and wedding party who helped ..what a relief it was not to have to do it alone)
  • For Keepsakes is having a Mega Crop on June 9th. For that I created the above gift ideas. Cards are good but, I have to admit, these it is nice trying something new.
  • This weekend at NavCan was very productive ... for me at least. If it wasnt for getting sick and seeking medical attention, I actually would have completed my entire mini album (10 Things I Love About Us) I got to number 8 so that wasnt too bad. The Ya-Ya's also did a layout challenge where we swapped photos. Stéphanie got photos of my sweet Rye (our boxer whom we lost to cancer two years ago) and Koda (our chocolate lab who died suddenly and tragically last month) and created a beautiful layout in their honour. I was lucky. I got to scrap a layout for Tanya using the brand new products from her company, Ooh La La Designs. I will have to get it from her and post it soon.

As you can see, I have been creating. Now I just need to post. Thanks for checking in, Barb. HUGS to you, my friend. :-)

Wow, what beautiful projects you've created. Thank you for the inspiration. :)

I didn't know you recently lost your dog. How very sad for you and Kevin. I'm so sorry to hear that. :(

You know, I still miss our Thursday night chats. A lot. How fitting that you blogged on a Thursday, just for me. Biggest hugs to you, my friend.
