You Be The Judge

Here is a photos on my Ya-Ya Katie's sweet babies. Her oldest, Kayleigh James, is on the top and her 3 day old, sweet Kasey Patricia is on the bottom. Katie told me they don't really look alike ... you be the judge. Regardless, those are two beautiful babies. The daughters of my beautiful friend. Congratulations and love to you all.

Congratulations!

Better late than never but a big congratulations to
~*~ PAULA ~*~
on winning my blog RAK from a week ago.
Please send me your information and I will get something to you.
Also, many thanks to my blog readers. Now that I know that I have somewhat of a following so-to-speak, maybe I will take it upon myself to update more and share all that I create, not just some of it. (stop laughing, Katie!)
Happy Friday m. PS Barbara ... I snuck your name in the draw anyways. :-)

~*~ Welcome Kasey Patricia ~*~

After a relatively speedy delivery (or so it seems at my end - - 12 hours.), Katie, Ryan and big sister Kayleigh welcomed the newest member of their family into the world. Kasey Patricia was born this evening weighing 7 lbs 1 oz. Mom and Baby are doing well.
Big hugs to you both and many, many congratulations.

Hello Bloggers from Near & Far!

When I post on my blog, I am aware that about a dozen people will look at my projects. Of those dozen people, I know that aout half will consistenly leave me comments letting me know they are there. The other 6 lurk and enjoy (I hope) in silence. Then I discovered Feedjit ...

Feedjit is a live tracking system that tells you where those who read your blog are located. While most of my visiters are local, I have had people check out Creatively Mine from all over Ontario and a few other parts of Canada. I have had some visitors not only from south of the border (Ohio, Illinios, San Francisco, Pennsylvania, and New York), but South America too. (Brazil, Columbia, Aruba). I have even had some European visitors from the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Norway, and France. How very exciting. Even more surprisingly, I was even googled in a few cases.

So, as you can see, I do have visitors. Some come back. Some don't. A few leave comments to mark their presense while others are silent visitors. Either way, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit and see what I am up to .... and returning each time when you sigh and wonder if I am ever going to update in this decade ..... or again!

As thanks for my blog readers, I will offer this:
Post a comment on my blog no later than midnight (EST) on Sunday April 13th and have your name placed into a draw for a RAK. I will draw and announce the winner on Monday.

Good Luck!

Finding the Inner Me and more

The first 12x12 layout was a Ya Ya challenge where we had to pick a layout from one of the Ya Ya galleries and recreate it. Because I wasn't sure who to chose, I put all 4 names on paper, folded them then shook them up and had a student pull a a name for me. She drew Katies name. I wasnt sure which one I was going to do but, when I saw her fart girl layout, I knew that one was the one. Thanks Katie. It was a challenge and interesting to say the least. lol

My version of Katie's layout.
(thank you to my body double, Charlize Theron)

The other challenges was to create a page kit. We drew names to see who would create a layout using your kit. Rachel drew my name and got my kit which she will hopefully post soon on her blog (along with the layout that I have been asking for months to have a copy of too. ;-) ). When she does I will post it here. We also drew to see who got to keep the completed layout. I drew Tanya's kit and Stéphanie got to keep it. Here is what I created using Tanya;s kit.

Following the same kit rules, Stéphanie received this kit from Rachel and she drew her name as to who gets to keep it.

After all was said and done, and although unproductive, NavCan was a great time. The only thing stopping it from being complete was Katie's presence. Unexpectedly, her father-in-law passed away the week before we were to go away so she was unable to attend. Hugs and love to you, my friend. Although not there is body, we know you were there in spirit. xxooxx
